Delivery

Yes. While we provide local same-day/next-day services across Poole and Dorset, we also deliver nationally across the UK via Royal Mail.

Yes, same-day delivery is available across Poole and surrounding Dorset areas for orders placed before 2pm (subject to availability). You can confirm availability at checkout or by calling our shop directly.

Delivery charges vary by region and service. For full details, please refer to our Delivery Information page.

Unfortunately not.

For local deliveries, placing your order by 2pm gives the best chance of same-day delivery (subject to availability). For nationally delivered bouquets, ordering at least 1–2 days in advance is recommended to ensure freshness and reliable delivery.

If no one is available to receive the flowers, we generally leave them in a shaded, sheltered spot (e.g., a porch) or with a neighbour if possible. However, to maintain freshness and protection, it's best to ensure someone is available or leave delivery instructions if needed. The delivery driver will leave a card for the recipient to let them know where the flowers have been left.

If you have ordered online, you will receive a confirmation via email.

Flower Care

Fresh flowers from Kohana typically last around 7-10 days depending on the variety, freshness at dispatch, and how well they're cared for. Each bouquet is delivered with a sachet of flower food and a care card to help extend their life.

Each bouquet is delivered with a sachet of flower food and a care card. To help your flowers last, trim stems diagonally before placing them in fresh water, keep them away from direct sunlight or heat, and change the water every 2–3 days. Dried florals should be kept in a cool, dry spot away from moisture.

Yes, in many cases. You can repurpose parts of the arrangement, for instance, transfer stems into a new vase or mix with other florals. Dried elements or preserved florals may last much longer and can often be reused decoratively.
